Light of my life

To the person who has completely turned my life around..

How does one define love? For many people it is about companionship and feeling comfortable and although they are two factors which determine my feelings towards you, there are thousands more which simultaneously define my affections. 

Before I met you I had completely lost faith in the concept of love, I felt empty inside and although I was very happy with many aspects of my life there was always something missing, I never imagined in a million years that it would just take one person to eliminate all the darkness. You are the light of my life and quickly have become my everything.

The amount I have come to feel for you in such a short space of time is already more than I have ever felt for anyone else, It scares me a hell of a lot which is why I often panic, over think and overreact. 

Because without you that darkness would soon creep back. 

You are all I ever think about, I struggle a lot to verbally communicate my feelings for you which is exactly why I have chosen to write them down just like Fitzgerald and Zelda. Fitzgerald once wrote to Zelda "I fell in love with her courage, her sincerity and her flaming self-respect and it's these things I'd believe in even if the world indulged in wild suspicions that she wasn't all that she should be. But of course the real reason is that I love her and that's the beginning and end of everything." Which is exactly how I feel about you. 

You, your children, your dog and my dog are everything that I could of ever wanted, I love every part of you and all I want is to spend my entire life with you, I want to share everything with you.
